Latest Updates from Our Project:

Have you completed the pledge manager?
almost 5 years ago – Thu, Jun 20, 2019 at 03:32:51 AM

All aboard TerrainSpotters,

A very quick update today, mainly just to check in and let you know that things are still nicely on track. From the production side, the pieces were sent into tooling last month and it normally takes around three months to complete. We're expecting tooling to be complete in late August and will keep you updated when we start to receive samples.

Secondly, have you completed the pledge manager yet? If you have, ignore this bit and carry on with your day, safe in the knowledge that you're a wonderful person. High fives for you.

If you haven't completed the pledge manager, then no high fives! If you don't complete the pledge manager, then we can't send you your chosen items and everyone gets very sad. Pledge managers must be completed by June 30th and then cards will be charged on July 1st (so make sure there's enough money in your account).

If you've lost your pledge manager link, then just head here.

We'll send out another reminder for the pledge manager next week. If you're having problems completing your pledge manager, then please email [email protected]

Check your email for the TerrainCrate 2 pledge manager!

All aboard TerrainSpotters,

Good news TerrainSpotters! Following a successful 'smoke test' of the pledge manager last week, we've just pressed the big green button to issue the remaining pledge managers to backers. Check your inbox for an email, which will contain a link to access your pledge manager.

Please note that backers who opted for the 'retail pledge' will not be sent a link to the pledge manager. Instead one of our trade reps will be in touch about your order - so don't worry!

WHAT IS THE PLEDGE MANAGER?

The pledge manager is the only way for backers to tell us what items they want to receive as part of their pledge and to give us their shipping address. We cannot send out pledges to backers unless they complete the pledge manager.

You'll also need to complete the pledge manager in order to pay for shipping. Again, we cannot send out your pledge unless you pay for shipping, which would be very sad for all concerned.

The deadline for completing your pledge manager is June 28th, 2019. Credit or debit cards will be charged on July 1st.

ANY PROBLEMS?

Pledge manager on its way!
almost 5 years ago – Thu, May 09, 2019 at 02:45:31 AM

All aboard TerrainSpotters,

Good news - the pledge manager is on its way! Once again we're working with Backerkit, as they make the whole process nice and easy for backers (and for us). Initially we'll be sending something out called the 'smoke test'. Only a small percentage will receive this email because it's an opportunity for us to test and ensure everything is running smoothly.

We'll be performing the smoke test today and, assuming everything goes to plan, the full pledge manager will be emailed to backers early next week.

DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE PLEDGE MANAGER?

The short answer is 'yes'. The pledge manager is the only way for us to get your correct shipping details and for you to choose the items you want to receive. You will also need to pay for shipping for the items you've ordered.

In the pledge manager, you can also add any additional items - like extra crates or sets - that you want to receive.

We'll update all backers next week once the pledge manager has been sent out. We'll be keeping the pledge manager open until the end of June, so you've got plenty of time to choose your items and pay for shipping.

PROGRESS UPDATE

While we've been sorting out the pledge manager, we've also been busy getting everything ready to go into tooling. This is the most time consuming element of the production process but we're starting nice and early to ensure delivery is on time.

We'll keep you updated on the tooling process and will show off any samples when we receive them.

Pledge manager update - April 16th
about 5 years ago – Tue, Apr 16, 2019 at 02:02:31 AM

All aboard Terrainspotters!

This is a very quick update today to let you know the pledge manager will be coming shortly. We're busy working on the manager in the background and hope to get it ready for early next week. We'll then keep it open for several weeks to ensure everyone has time to complete it.

We'll be working with Backerkit once again and will update backers once the pledge manager is live.

Crate news everyone! TerrainCrate is funded, thanks to YOU!

  All aboard Terrainspotters!

After two thrilling weeks (and some horrendous puns) the hype terrain has finally pulled into its final destination. This has been a fantastic campaign that’s going to ensure we’re able to produce a massive range of pre-assembled plastic scenery for a huge range of tabletop games.

Whether you’re into Cthulhu-esque horrors, traditional RPGs, board games, wargames, post-apocalyptic zombie games, historical wargaming or just like tiny plastic ducks, this campaign has managed to fund it all.

Over the course of the campaign you’ve smashed through 29(!) stretch goals and added dozens of extra pieces into the Crates. You’ve also helped us to create new pieces, like the suit of armour, broken pews and photocopiers. We really couldn’t have done it without you.

WHAT’S NEXT?

Well, as you’ve seen during the campaign, pretty much everything is designed and ready to go into tooling. This process can take several months as we refine each item and make sure it’s going to stand up to the rigours of a hardcore gaming session.

While we’re busy doing that, we’ll also be working on the pledge manager. This is due to be emailed out to backers around the end of March and we’ll keep it open for several weeks. Remember, you must complete the pledge manager in order to confirm your address, select your crates/set and pay for shipping.

GAME OVER, MAN

Sadly, we couldn’t quite get enough credits for the DreadBall arcade machine. But all is not lost DreadBall fans! Assuming we get enough additional funds added in the pledge manager, we will unlock the DreadBall machine!

All that remains is to say thank you so much again. It's been a wonderful second trip aboard the hype terrain. If you want to get your TerrainCrate fix before this Kickstarter is delivered, then make sure to head to your FLGS to check out the existing terrain or take a look on the Mantic website.

Until next time, will all Terrain Spotters please exit the carriage... we have reached our destination...
