All aboard TerrainSpotters,
It won't be long now until TerrainCrate is arriving at the hubs and then being sent out to backers. In fact, we're just days away from it arriving in some locations ready to be distributed. It can sometimes take a week or two to organise the shipments once they've arrived at the hubs, so we'll be in contact when each hub starts shipping.

TerrainCrate 2 is on the boat!

All aboard TerrainSpotters,
We have some good news today! TerrainCrate 2 pledges are on their various boats and heading around the world. Apologies for not getting the details beforehand but it's been tricky pulling information together in the current climate and we wanted to make sure we could update everyone at once.
Where possible you can track some of various vessels using the details below and we've got rough arrival estimates too. Please bear in mind, the arrival dates are when they'll arrive at the ports and not when we'll start shipping. We'll have a better idea of that once they arrive in port. Typically it's within a couple of weeks of arrival at the port.
On its way from China but we haven't got the boat details from our shipping partner Aetherworks. Timings will be similar to those above though.

There is still time to update your address but you'll have to be quick. Please email [email protected] and we can update the various hubs.
Also, we've got another picture of painted items too. Not long to wait until you can start painting yours. Thank you so much for your patience and we're delighted to be on the home stretch :)
Shipping addresses now locked!

A very quick update to say that addresses have now been locked in Backerkit. If you need to amend your shipping address, you can no longer change it in Backerkit. Instead you must email [email protected] so we can update our master shipping sheet.
We'll have an update soon about when pledges are being loaded onto boats. In the meantime, here are a couple more shots of painted TerrainCrate 2 items. Enjoy!

All aboard Terrainspotters,
As we approach the finish line for TerrainCrate 2 we need to check that your shipping address is correct.
Have you moved address since the pledge manager closed last year? Are you planning on moving in the next month? Then you'll need to change your address! In fact, it's probably a good idea to check your address, just in case.
The deadline for making sure your shipping address is correct is April 27th.
If your address is not correct by this time, then we can't guarantee we'll ship to the correct address, which will be very sad for all concerned.

Production Update - April 15th

Hello Terrainspotters,
Firstly, we hope you’re all staying safe and staying indoors due to the current outbreak. Hopefully you’re finding the opportunity for a little extra hobby time… you might even finally get all your TerrainCrate 1 pledges painted!
Secondly – and most importantly – we’ve got a production update on TerrainCrate 2. As you know, production in China was delayed due to manufacturing taking longer than expected, then Chinese New Year and then the outbreak of COVID-19. The delay was detailed in our previous update.
However, today we’ve got some good news! Production is almost complete - hooray! We’ve been waiting on a confirmed date before sending out an update, but our manufacturing partner is expecting to complete manufacturing on April 25th.
In fact, they’ve sent over a bunch of production samples so we can check everything through.
So, what happens next? Once production is finished we’ll be booking everything onto a boat ready to start shipping to the various hubs around the globe. As you can imagine, the ports in China are busy with manufacturers catching up due to COVID-19. Currently we don’t have a date for the boats, but we’ll let you know as soon as we do.
However, we’re definitely on the home stretch for getting TerrainCrate 2 into your hands. Thank you so much for your patience and we appreciate your support. In our next update, we’ll have the details about the boats and a clearer idea about the shipping date.
